Team Overview
The Marketplace Solutions team identifies gaps in the marketplace and brings innovative solutions that align with the Southface mission, addressing issues around water conservation, energy efficiency and sustainable building operations. Existing Southface-branded programs within the Marketplace Solutions team include EarthCraft, Southface Energy Rated Homes (SERH), Care and Conserve Plumbing Repair Program (CCPRP) and BIT Building (BIT).
Position Overview
The Director of Marketplace Solutions is a member of the senior leadership team and reports to the President. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee the long-term vision, strategy, roadmap development, implementation and evaluation of Southface-branded programs
- Evaluate viability of advancing the Southface mission through growth, expansion or replication of existing Southface branded programs
- Contribute to organizational growth through development of new programs that support the strategic direction of the organization
- Seek new and manage existing partnerships with public and private organizations to identify and acquire funding resources.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop, implement and manage program marketing strategies to increase brand awareness
- Participate in organizational strategic planning activities
- Hire, train, develop and appraise direct reports
Qualifications
The successful applicant for the position will meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, MBA preferred
- Ten+ years' experience developing and launching successful programs or products
- Demonstrated acumen in business and function disciplines
- Relationship management skillset with outside-in focus
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Highly skilled and experienced at leading change to achieve win-win outcomes
- Excellent leadership, time management, facilitation and organizational skills
- Collaborative and positive team-building demeanor
- Valid driver's license with no major violations
Physical Requirements
Ability to carry 35 pounds, which may involve carrying program materials including program signs, presentation materials and equipment, such as a projector.

Hours of Work
Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with flexible options. Occasional weekend or evening hours.
