Position Overview

Southface is seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Program Coordinator supporting the Policy and Sustainability Services Teams, primarily to support the Care and Conserve Plumbing Repair Program (CCPRP).  The program is funded by the City of Atlanta, Department of Watershed Management and provides no cost residential plumbing repairs and water conservation education to low and moderate income home owners. 

Responsibilities

The Program Coordinator position will support CCPRP through outreach and relationship management of potential customers through assistance with daily program administrative duties. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead program outreach activities, including organizing in-person events.
  • Provide customer service to CCPRP clients through phone, email and in-person interactions.
  • Lead the Intake process including maintaining customer database, physical file organization, customer follow-up to ensure application completion, mailing documents, and reviewing file for completion.
  • If necessary, transport customers to the Department of Labor to secure wage verification form.
  • Provide general administrative support to CCPRP.
  • Special projects, including research, mailings, quarterly reporting and maintaining program databases.
  • Other tasks as necessary supporting the Policy and Sustainability Services Teams.

Qualifications

The successful applicant for the position will meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related degree
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field may be acceptable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional task management and organizational skills
  • Experience with data entry, analysis and tracking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Collaborative and positive team-building demeanor
  • Valid driver's license with no major violations

Physical Requirements

Normal office setting on most days. Occasional travel to education and outreach events.  Travel to customer homes and the Georgia Department of Labor.

Hours of Work

Maximum of 25 hours per week for a temporary term of 18 months. Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with flexible options. Occasional weekend or evening hours.
