Position Overview

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects within Southface's nonprofit resource efficiency grant programs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners through phone, email and in-person communications.
  • Lead project meetings to effectively coordinate with technical staff to ensure all deliverables are met.
  • Develop individual grant timelines and schedules to ensure timely completion of each project.
  • Assist with developing case studies, marketing materials and website updates in collaboration with the Communications team.
  • Support the Program Manager in grant writing and grant reporting activities.
  • Assist Program Manager with expansion-related activities for Southface's nonprofit resource efficiency grant programs.

Qualifications

The successful applicant for the position will meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree or related degree
  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a minimum of three years of experience in a relevant field may be acceptable
  • Minimum of two years of project management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional task management and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe programs (InDesign experience or similar preferred). 
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Collaborative and positive team-building demeanor

Physical Requirements

Ability to carry 35 pounds, which may involve carrying project materials including program signs, presentation materials and equipment, such as a projector.

Hours of Work

Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with flexible options. Occasional weekend or evening hours.
